ComparisonsApeiroCraft vs ClickUp
Looking for a ClickUp alternative?
ClickUp is very good at the thing it is for. Tasks, dependencies, Gantt views, dashboards, automations, time tracking, a thousand integrations — if your problem is coordinating work across a team, it solves it more thoroughly than we do, and it is genuinely inexpensive per seat.
It is not built for the client-facing half of an agency. There is no proposal builder, no e-signature, no invoice. So the work gets managed in ClickUp while the quote lives in Google Docs, the contract in a PDF, and the bill in a separate app — and the same client details get typed into all four. ApeiroCraft covers that second half: a tracked proposal, a signature, and the invoice the signature produces, with a CRM and Kanban tasks around it, flat per workspace.
This page is honest about where that trade lands badly for you. At five people ClickUp costs less than our Team plan, and its free tier carries unlimited members where ours carries one. Both are in the table.

Choose ApeiroCraft if…
- Your bottleneck is getting paid, not coordinating work — you need a proposal that gets signed and an invoice that follows it.
- You're tired of retyping the same client into a project tool, a proposal doc, and an invoicing app.
- Your team is past ten people and per-seat pricing has started to compound.
- You don't want to build a CRM out of custom fields and saved views before you can use it.
ClickUp is the better pick if…
- You need real project management: dependencies, Gantt, workload views, sprints, portfolios.
- You bill hourly and need time tracking against tasks — we have none, and this is the single biggest gap.
- Automations matter: status changes that trigger assignments, recurring checklists, conditional logic.
- Your team is under six people, in which case ClickUp Business is genuinely cheaper than our Team plan.
- You need mobile apps, or you need to plug into a thousand other tools.
Seriously — if that's you, use ClickUp. A tool you resent switching to helps nobody.
Common questions.
Is ApeiroCraft a good ClickUp alternative for agencies?
It depends which half of your agency hurts. ClickUp is the stronger project manager and we won't pretend otherwise — it has time tracking, Gantt, automations, and integrations we don't. ApeiroCraft replaces the client-facing half ClickUp doesn't cover: tracked proposals with e-signature, a CRM the client actually sits in, and invoicing that draws from the accepted proposal. Agencies that switch usually do it because the quote-to-cash side was scattered across three other tools, not because ClickUp managed their work badly.
Is ClickUp cheaper than ApeiroCraft?
For small teams, yes. As of August 2026 ClickUp Business is $12 per user per month billed annually, so five people is $60/month against $79/month for our Team plan. It flips as you grow: twenty people is $240/month on ClickUp and $149/month flat on our Agency plan. ClickUp's free tier also allows unlimited members where ours allows one, so if headcount is your only constraint and you don't need proposals or invoices, ClickUp Free is the better deal.
Can ClickUp send proposals and invoices?
No. ClickUp has no proposal builder, no e-signature, and no invoicing. Teams usually pair it with a document tool and a billing tool, or build approximations out of Docs and custom fields — which works until you need a client to legally sign something, or you need the signed amount to become a bill without being retyped.
Does ApeiroCraft have time tracking?
No, and it's our clearest gap against ClickUp. If you bill hourly and need timers running against tasks, ClickUp does that at every paid tier and we do not. We're better suited to fixed-scope and retainer work, where the proposal defines the price and the invoice follows the signature.
Can I run my client pipeline in ClickUp instead of a CRM?
You can, and many agencies do — a list with custom fields for deal stage and value gets you a long way. The cost is that you build and maintain it, and it stays disconnected from the proposal and the invoice. In ApeiroCraft the contact, the proposal, the signature, and the invoice are the same record by default; nothing has to be wired together first.
Does ApeiroCraft charge per seat?
No. Plans are flat per workspace: $19, $79, or $149 a month. But be aware of the seat caps — Solo allows 3 seats per workspace, Team 5, and Agency 30. So it's flat pricing with a ceiling, not unlimited seats, and ClickUp will let you add people without one.
